Have you ever thought how wonderful it would be to just sit and paint in the moment? 

Be inspired by what you can see around you? Listening to the ocean gently flowing back and forth with your toes in the sand with the sunshine on your face?

I can honestly tell you, IT IS as wonderful as it sounds! 

But let's be honest. In reality, left to your own devices, you're probably not going to get around to it. Getting the equipment together is a hassle and can be expensive, then you have to lug it down the beach with you and who knows when a gust of wind is going to swoop by and take your equipment with it! 

Also, once your there, where do you start? Maybe the ocean first, what about that big boat? 

And how do I  mix my colours to look like that?!

With a slightly different feel to our traditional paint and sip nights, in these 2-hour paint sessions, you will be painting what you see around you with the help and guidance of a professional local artist.

Paint the Beach at the Beach! Be inspired by the outdoors with guidance from a local professional Artist. 

Start the day with a creative boost and a bit of community positivity. 

Unlike our Bar paint n sip events, this event is designed to be a social outlet of creativity in a calming smaller scale. 

Each month our local artist will guide you through a painting on a mini canvas masterpiece while you sip on coffee and make new friends. 

The painting choices will be led by the group so our regulars will have an opportunity to input on what they would like to paint next.

For a long while, my friend had been suggesting I accompany her to one of these events as she felt is was right up my boulevard. Well she was spot on. I spent a wonderful couple of hours just sitting with a large glass of red in one hand, paint brush in the other and following the very clear, step-by-step instructions. The atmosphere was fabulous, with really supportive and encouraging people running it. If you've never been before because you're worried your painting will look like it was done by a foot, then come along. It's not about the product, it's the journey, the company (I had such a laugh) and of course the wine. Best of all you leave with your own artwork! As a teacher I often feel tired and stressed but after this session I felt relaxed and accomplished 😌  Thank you Paint and Chill, I've already booked my next one!
